I create each of my hats with tender loving care. Each hat is carefully covered with material piece by piece then lovingly embellished with various items as if a picture is being painted or a story being told. When each hat is completed, it is numbered then signed with my artist alias "Babs LaRue" making each hat a unique collectors item as well as a piece of wearable art. I also take custom orders.

"Emerald Chance" is a riding style hat with an attitude. The form is covered with a sheen emerald green heavy taffeta material, piece by piece for each section of the hat. The edge is accented with green and gold beads and braid. It is embellished with an array of various colored feathers the colors of a peacock, the peacock feathers being the main accent. There are gold accents throughout, making this the perfect "Mardi Gras" hat. A fun addition to any collection.
