It is beautifully rendered in very fine detail and depicts a Bacchanalian scene with three figures and a lot of grapes and holds its quality from every angle as can be seen in the images! This piece is perfect for a windery, where it will certainly become the centre of attention very quickly Moreau is a well listed and highly collected French sculptor who died in 1917, and this is a late C19th piece. The sculpture was purchased in the 1070's in St. Louis from a museum that was closing and shipped to Canada where it now resides. A Provenance will be included with this beautiful piece of art. An online research will evidence that far smaller and less attractive pieces by Moreau have sold for $30k! Needless to say, this sculpture is very, very heavy so will need to be crated and specially shipped. Please be aware of shipping costs before purchase.
