ICARUS LINE Tour Poster/Print by Aesthetic Apparatus - 7th St Entry Minneapolis

Another beguiling tour poster by the beguilingly talented Aesthetic Apparatus (aka Mr. Michael Byzewski). The man has a finely tuned eye for creating somewhat left-field print designs, from tour posters to art prints to commissioned works. In the eyes of the devil, all of those are the same thing; a fact that speaks less to AA’s proliferation of styles over the years and more to the overall quality of their output, from the traditionally cheap and cheerful to those works which aspire to greater artistic heights. Of course AA would find a home in the devil’s attic! Here we have a tour poster for the band Volante. An out-of-print item presently no longer available from Aesthetic Apparatus directly, the print measures 24X18" and is printed on archival white paper. Ready to frame, it will arrive in a poster tube roll. It promotes an Icarus Line show (with special guests Dead Meadow and Battles) on Monday, July12, 2004 at Minneapolis' 7th St Entry.
