This is an Antique Coal/Ash Scuttle Box in two tone shades of walnut and burl wood. The piece appears to be hand carved with a floral design on the front and the sides and a curved brass handle. The interior has a bin with handles that pulls out and a ornate shovel.
This will make a great decorative piece to stow by the fireplace.
