*ITEM: MACGREGOR GOLDSMITH Trapper Baseball Glove Mitt Antique
*MANUFACTURER: Macgregor Goldsmith
*MODEL: 3 finger Trapper
*YEAR: Unknown, possibly late 1930's
*MATERIAL: Leather
*MEASURES: 10" plus or minus 1/2"
*CONDITION: Very used and very worn. The letters and numbers impressed into the leather are barely readable in places and not readable at all in the palm. The "Trapper Model" impression reads "apper del". The patent numbers are intact but barely readable. The put finger in hole impression is readable.
This glove looks like an earlier versions of the trapper model since the web lace doesn't go all the way down between the fingers. Maybe the lower web lace is missing. I don't see any signs of the lace ever being down low between the fingers but I'm not an expert and I could be wrong. Buyer is responsible for finding flaws in this glove before the purchase.
