Original Swiss magazine advertisement from the year 1951 for Vulcain Watch Company and Langendorf Watch Company. The advertisement was carefully removed from a Swiss magazine.
The text on the page reads:
"Declaration
"Messrs. Ditisheim & Co. of the Vulcain Factory at La Chaux-de-Fonds and
"The Langendorf Watch Factory at Langendorf (Soleure),
"In order to avoid any false interpretation of a recent press notice, want to state publicly:
"- That the legal proceedings instituted against a firm of the Canton of Soleure (Switzerland) for counterfeiting the 'Vulcain Cricket' Alarm Wrist Watch, which were settled to the entire satisfaction of the Vulcain Factory, do in no way concern the Langendorf Watch Company.
"- That the latter Company actually have put their 'Lanco-Fon' Alarm Wrist watch into production and on sale only after complete agreement with the Vulcain Factory.
"La Chaux-de-Fonds and Langendorf, 2nd of May 1951"
