Ben Wade , Brooklyn Dodgers (1952–1954) Ben's best year would be in 1952. He posted career-highs in wins (11), ERA (3.60), games pitched (37), starts (24), complete games (5), strikeouts (118) and innings (180.0).
Of note:
After his playing career, Wade spent many years as a scout and then director of scouting for the Los Angeles Dodgers, supplying the team with players that would lead it to eight National League championships and four World Series titles during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s!
