This is a very easy way to record telephone calls. This item is a 2 way telephone conversation recording microphone lead. Simply plug the lead into your phone socket and connect the 3.5mm jack lead into MIC socket of recorder. Then activate your recorder when making a call, Its that simple. If your recorder has sound activation then you can leave it to automatically start and stop recording as and when the phone is used. You can only use this interface to record a single phone. It will not record calls made on other phones unless it is all through a single base unit.
