Imported from India, This fibre is pure silk. Its called pulled silk. It has come from recycled selvedges of saris and is then pulled apart and carded into roving. Excellent for spinning alone or into another roving, plying or blending. Look closely at the photos and you can see the beautiful shine and the occasional pop of another colour. It is a beautiful colourway. I am selling it in one (1) ounce lots. Have a look at the yarn sample. It was spun fine and plied with a dark red thread.,This silk was purchased from a manufacturer and there may be some dye residue, so please use caution and prewash your item with cool water before using it.
