Antique Nippon Handpainted Tri-Footed Tobacco Jar Humidor Circa 1900-1920Very large hand painted jar with pale olive green background featuring a scenic motif of pagodas in a valley in a woodland area. the orange tinged clouds signify either an early dawn or dusk.The jar is in very good condition with the hand painting intact. The jar is has a raised moriage decorative motif on the sides and the jar lids rim. There is a beading along the rim as well. I noted three .5 " slight spidering on the bottom of the jar and lid that do not go through. I love the finial on this jar's lid.Please review the pictures for condition and ask all questions prior to buying as all sales ate final and sold as is. This is a very heavy jar and Shipping weight is 3 pounds.Ships with delivery confirmation and insurance. USPS substantially raised their postage rates & insurance charges on 01/17/16 with the largest increase for packages sent to Zone 9 from my location in CA. This increase also affects packages sent through Fedex as USPS uses them for economy packages. The rate change increased fees charged by eCRATER & Paypal as well because they take 13% of the shipping charges. The increase is unfortunately passed on to buyers. If your package is 1 pound or less it will travel by USPS.
