Custom handmade with love.
This unique design offers 12 notes arranged delicately to achieve a potent sound and symmetry.
Each note has been polished to a sheen then repeatedly anozided and vary subtly in color between dark blue/purple, to a fine rainbow mixed with a regal aged rust. The main body has a bright metallic gold speckled with a rustic undertone for added texture. The entire body is covered in layers of protective gloss to add sheen and longevity.
Included is a free piezoelectric pickup - Simply stick it to the drum, and plug in any guitar cord from your drum into an amp- Being a full bodied instrument that relies purely on resonance, these drums work extremely well electrically with any wide range of effects.
This drum is made unique like all our drums by the inclusion of tuning putty on the underside of each of the 8 tines so that notes can be sharped or flattened to suit personal preference and allow the owner the ability to tune and maintain their instrument- extra putty is also included just to be nice. :)
Again because we feel that it is so important to be able to have the personal control to maintain and tune your instrument forevermore also included is a special hand-sized tuning blade to do larger adjustments, giving the owner the ability to completely alter the scale of the whole drum if after years of playing you find another note-set you like better and never need to buy another drum if you don't want to. It could easily become am heirloom.
Keep in mind that the sound of any of our drums through the speakers in a camera can hardly compare with their sound in person. And even though the videos are often taken indoors, even with a small amp, played right these drums can produce enough sound to fill an auditorium.
Custom made mallets are also included making the instrument extremely easy to play for anyone age 1 to infinity - and with so many subtleties, the avid player can enjoy spending years mastering the nuances of each individual drum.
