The Bosque Bumblebee is a rare blue tomato that contains the highly desired anthocyanin. They develop a black/purple color on the shoulders as they grow, and ripen to yellow. The more sun that each tomato receives, the deeper the black color. Larger than a cherry tomato, Bosque Bumblebee is a perfect salad tomato with a mild, almost fruity flavor. They are one of the most beautiful tomatoes I have ever grown.

Propagation Methods: From seed, sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 2-3 seeds per pot and thin to one plant per container. After four weeks, transplant seedlings to larger pots, and about 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny, highly composted location when soil temperatures are at least 55 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit . Stake or cage the plants for support and to prevent sprawling on the ground.
