Years ago, my son loved to play on the computer. His favorite game was not your typical game though. He enjoyed waiting until I wasn't watching, and then taking all the keys off the keyboard and throwing them around the room. He tossed the keys down the air conditioner vents. One time I found a W key in the spaghetti sauce. Sometimes he flushed them down the toilet too, and for some reason he liked putting the B button in his belly button.
Every time I shopped the thrift stores, I scoured the place for spare keyboards. I collected quite a few and that was good, because he destroyed a lot of keyboards.
Eventually he outgrew this little game and I still had a pretty good sized stash of keyboards in the attic.
We recently cleaned out some of the junk in the attic and decided that maybe you would like to buy a keyboard or two.
This is what I will call keyboard #6, an old Compaq RT101 keyboard with a PS/2 connector. The PS/2 connector is a little bent and I was unable to test it.
This is a pretty heavy keyboard with a nice clickiness to it. (It's not an official clicky keyboard though.)
I wiped it with a sanitizing wipe before I handled it, but there is further nasty business between the keys, etc. It definitely needs a good cleaning, but I'll leave that up to you.
Please send me any questions you may have, and thanks for looking.
