This one of a kind fascinator headpiece has been completely made by me, the teacup milliner. My pieces are designed and made the same way I make my hats, in full millinery fashion. From the base which I designed, and made from buckram and wired the edge. Each piece is lined the same way I line my hats.
I took my inspiration from a vintage Paris and Eiffel Tower broach to make my piece. The base is covered with black satin, trimmed in yellow piping and black French braid. I made a feather pad using yellow biot and a tall yellow coque feather, then finished it with black turkey and yellow and black guinea feathers. It made a striking combination that screams out "I love Paris".
