Art Deco vintage bakelite tortoise color clip-on earrings, nice and thick in a Mod square design. Gorgeous end of the day bakelite brown and creamy yellow marble, slightly translucent.
Condition is Excellent - clips show very mild wear. Simichrome and 409 tested!

1 14/" Square
Thickness 1/4"
Bakelite was one of the first plastics made from synthetic components, very popular in the late 30s and 40s. End of the day bakelite was created using remnant color batches from the day which were then swirled together (hence the marbling) creating unique one of a kind items.
