Here is a very old polo mallet that makes a fabulous display/conversation piece. The original label, Gray's Maker, Westbury, NY is on the head. Made of bamboo, complete with leather grip and original wrist strap. Has MD carved into the top of mallet head.
This piece of sporting history has a wonderful patina. It can be hung in your den or leaned against a wall as an accent piece. Not to mention, this is the perfect gift for a man cave or sports room.
Mallet appears to be in good used condition showing age. Has label on club and also on shaft.
Club head is 9 1/2" long, Shaft is 51" long
The number 0 is stamped into club head.
