A symbol of the Old West and its unrivaled heritage, our real cow skulls are completely cleaned with the natural bone and horns intact. They have been fully treated using a soap containing natural enzymes, as well as a peroxide wash and finished with farm grade bug spray.
As with any real skull item, there remains the possibility of the skull retaining some of the organisms used to assist in this treatment process. Should you experience this, please spray your item in an outside area with a heavy grade bug spray 2-4 times and allow 24 hours to dry.
