Vintage Caribbean Primitive Folk Art Handmade Cloth Rag Doll St Thomas V.I.

Vintage circa 1940s-1970s one of a kind original handmade rag doll made of cloth, souvenir from St Thomas, Virgin Islands made for tourists. Primitive Folk Art style with hand-painted eyes and mouth with movable arms and legs and can bend into a seatable position. She's wearing a colorful patterned cotton dress with a full & flairy skirt and undergarments, a weaved basket hat, head kerchiefs, and big hoop earrings.. St Thomas V.I. is printed on her apron.
A truly wonderful example of Primitive style Folk Art.

Vintage Condition: EX/Minor age-related marks on clothing. No rips or any damage flaws found. Arms and legs move easily and can stay in a posable position.
