On January 4, 1996, the production company SILVER PALM LEAF presented for the first time in San Francisco the rave event EAT STATIC. The poster advertises "& other guests" and promised "more intelligence soon."
This poster features a very interesting image: in the background, behind sand dunes, a stepped pyramid of the kind found in southern Mexico and Central America; in the foreground among the sand dunes a very imaginative "crawler." The poster is printed in shades of red and metallic silver ink on fairly heavy stock. It measures approximately 11" x 17". Because of the metallic ink the poster was difficult to photograph, and so I have included a couple of shots. The first, while it shows some glare, is more true to the color; the second is relatively glare free, but makes the image easier to see. If you need to see more, let me know. The poster is in good condition, overall, but has a heavy crease across the entire width just above the crawler. In addition the corners have a little damage, and there are a few fairly minor dings, comparative with the damage mentioned. In my opinion, in a good frame/setting, the poster's flaws would be minimized, especially because of the fantastic nature of the image.
Postage quoted includes a poster tube, by USPS first class mail, with delivery confirmation. If the buyer wants to make other arrangements about the shipping materials or rates, please send an email. I am willing to combine shipping on a case-by-case basis, on purchases made within an agreed period of time.
Please let me know if you have any questions before committing, and thanks for considering this poster!
