Honeynut squash is a winter squash. It tastes very similar to a butternut squash but is a lot sweeter and a lot smaller, about a quarter of the size of your typical butternut squash, weighing in at about 2-lbs. Great for those who want a smaller or individualized portion, higher yielding than traditional butternut squash. Simply cut in half and bake!
Fruit initially appears dark green when immature and ripens to deep orangey-tan color. Start indoors in areas where time is of the essence. Days from transplant to ripe fruit: 85

The Rare Organic OP Honeynut Mini Squash seeds are fantastic! They produce sweet little squash that are perfect for individual servings. The flavor is amazing, and they grow well in small spaces. I've already enjoyed harvesting them and plan to grow more next season.

The honeynut mini squash seeds seem to be of good quality. Been looking for a smaller winter squash and this fits the bill perfectly. Can't wait to see how many I can grow in my small garden. Very excited about this find.
