Hesston College Journal “The Lark” 1944 issue, yearbook from the Hesston College and Bible School, Hesston, Kansas, Ks. This hard bound book has approximately 66 pages. It has a lovely textured cream colored and gray front and back cover. There are black and white photographs including student photos. The college president, Milo F. Kauffman, the Dean, Ivan Lind, and other faculty members are shown in black and white photographs, with their credential information. There are other photographs of the campus, and various student organizations. There is advertising in the back of the book, with advertisements from many Hesston and local area businesses such as Mennonite Publishing House (Scottdale, Pa.), Fred S. Brenneman, M.D., F. W. Woolworth Co. (Newton, Ks.), Razook’s Store, Hesston Cafe, and more. The yearbook measures about 10 ¾” by about 8”. It is in very nice condition, with a little bit of edge and corner wear, and minor soil. This WWII era Hesston College Journal was packed away for many years, and there is a slight musty odor. There are no tears or rips.
