Waitin’ on the 5:05—A shrill whistle breaks the stillness of the evening air. Soon the little engine with a single combine in tow will round the curve and pull up to the tiny depot. The 5:05 is right on time. Originally, Thomas A. Yorke called this station the “Rocopilla Depot”.

The original “Rocopilla Depot” kit had no specific prototype, but the basic construction techniques used for this model were inspired by a little station south of the border. Santa Eulalia was the end of the line for the Ferrocarril Mineral de Chicuahua, a narrow gauge industrial line. The design for the original patterns for the HO version are from the original “Fallberg Station” by John Olsen and the O scale patterns were carved by Tom Yorke to match.

This *original* Thomas A. Yorke kit has been give a renewed life with lots of updates and additions including the instructions, wood ramp & Precision Cut one-piece trusses! And on our website (not here), you will be able to select which style of Doctor Ben’s Shingles or, Corrugated Metal roofing that you would like for this fine model. You may choose either Doctor Ben's Precision Cut Stepped Shingles or Doctor Been Corrugated Metal as the roof material for this kit! Right above the "Add to Cart" button there are "Radio" button to make a choice!

The windows, doors, and other details are Grandtline product molded plastic. Kit includes drawings, SMM details and detailed construction and weathering instructions. Roof Selection: Progress Photo #3 shows the HO Pilot Model in its final steps. Left to do is finish the *new*, no longer "Optional" Ramp" (brand new SMM casting), install the windows & door, cap the smokejack, finish staining & weathering the stonework, weather the shingles, attach the outside truss trim, add the included details, etc.

And yes, Doctor Ben's Weathering would look good on the roof. Directly below are the Elevation and Isometric Views of this kit. Instructions are full-size sheets and included is a color photograph.
