This piece is inspired by a show that I have recently grown to love :) However I found it interesting reading on this particular bird, the raven has been considered a bird of ill omen lending to many myths and legends. So not surprising that it be meshed into this show's story line.
Inside the glass bottle ( measuring about 1 1/2'' tall ) is an even smaller hand sculpted three eyed raven. The raven is about 5 mm tall, very tiny but very detailed :)
The raven is perched on a real branch and is secured down so he won't fall off. At the bottom of the bottle is some green moss to complete the scenery.
The contents of the bottle are permanently sealed inside with a cork and sealant.
On the outside of the bottle is a burnt paper label with the quote:
"Winter is coming"
The quote has been glazed to prevent fading over time.
The pendant hangs from a 18'' cable style, silver plated chain with a spring ring closure.
This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
