This is a handmade shelf the pattern was taken from an antique shelf in our home. The finish is slightly distressed, the base and top are knotty pine in keeping with the rustic look. The lion is 100% hand carved, though not by myself. The leaf applique is also wood. The lion and the brackets are glued on with wood adhesive and also nailed or screwed in.
