Papaya Enzyme Mask

The Papaya is a plant native to Mexico and Central America. It is a short lived fast growing herb that bears fruit. The papaya is a pear shaped fruit that is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A and Potassium. Papayas also contain the enzyme Papain which is a digestive enzyme and is more abundant in green, unripe fruits. Papain enzymes have been found to be extremely effective in dissolving fats to purge and soften the skin and can be found in many beauty products. Papaya contains enzymes that soften and heal the skin. The enzymes in this fruit fights free-radical damage and is known to reduce age spots and fine lines and leave the skin supple. They also cleanse the skin by dissolving dead cells from the skin’s surface.

Suggested Use: Apply to clean, dry skin. Allow mask to dry and remove with daily cleanser and washcloth. Use 1-2 times per week. Discontinue use if irritation develops.
