Small Pure Silver Conch Shell Thangka Thanka Mandala Painting Nepal Art

This is a beautiful Pure Silver Paint Conch Shell Thangka Painting from Nepal. It has nice details a great 3-D effect in the canvas very good shape as well. In the center of this Thangka painting is the Conch Shell surrounded by a fireball and spiritual Nepal / Tibetan writing. Traditionally the conch shell was called the trumpet of victory and symbolizes the spoken word. In the epic writing Mahabharata the conch was blown at the beginning of battle to help ensure victory. Its sound is associated with the primeval and the origin of elements.

I brought it back with me on my recent trip to Nepal knowing that someone would love to have it.


No noticeable flaws. There is a feint mark it looks almost like a light pencil line in the lower left corner in the black area that extends into the blue just slightly. I have discounted the painting a little bit for this. You can barely see it in the pictures and notice too it is very minor.
