Lathyrus odoratus 'Matucana' is a rich bi-color maroon and purple sweet pea. This delightful heirloom, dates back to the 17th century and is highly valued for its wonderfully strong and sweet scent. A single bouquet perfumes the entire house.
Very heavy-blooming, this vine bears 2 to 4 very fragrant blooms in every cluster along its 6 feet length. The blooms measure 1½" across, and are superb for cutting. Hardy annual.
