I suggest cleaning the joints out by hand w/ a drill bit the size of the pegs to allow the pegs to be inserted easier

The HB kit has a good variety of components and the quality is pretty solid. I did find the instructions slightly confusing at first, but once I got the hang of it, it came together nicely. Great for those looking for a hands-on experience.
