Also includes the smaller Channel Islands including Alderney, Sark and Herm.
The number is local to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, in the format 07781 xxxxxx.
PLEASE NOTE : You will need an UNLOCKED phone or device to use this SIM.

On the standard data tariff the download speed is up to 384 Kb/s.
A high speed tariff is also available.

Roaming
You can roam for calls and texts in many countries with this prepaid SIM.
Currently data roaming is not available on prepaid.
Note : If you use this SIM in mainland UK, you will be roaming.

Friends must be confirmed in advance on the Sure website.
MANAGING YOUR ACCOUNT
Registration
Registration is not required to use a Sure Guernsey prepaid SIM card, if you use top-up vouchers.
However you will need to register your details if you wish to top-up using your UK bank card, and in some other circumstances.
Balance Enquiry
Dial *#100# for balance by text (available for free even when roaming, dependent on network)
Topping Up
If you have a UK bank card you can top up online.
To top up with a bank card you will need to register your details with Sure, this can be done online or at a Sure shop.
If you don't have a UK bank card, top-ups are readily available at many locations in the islands.
Look for the yellow "top up here" stickers.
To add a top-up voucher, dial *#101*topupPIN# , where topupPIN is the PIN number given on your voucher.
This method should also work from outside the islands.
If you need to top up your Sure Guernsey SIM from abroad but are having problems, you can contact me for assistance.
Voicemail
Once set up, voicemail is free and works even if you have no credit.
Dial 171 to set up and access voicemail from your mobile.
Guernsey Local Directory App
Download the local Guernsey directory app for iPhone or Android : available from Google Play (was Android Market)
You can search Yellow Pages or White Pages.
Credit and SIM Expiry
Top-ups of £5 or more will extend the SIM life to 12 months, and the credit life equally to 12 months.
The SIM will expire a year after the last top-up of at least £5.
To maintain the number you must top up at least £5 every 12 months.
After that there is a grace period of up to 4 months before the mobile number, with any remaining credit, is permanently lost.

- SIM with £5 credit valid for 12 months (credit currently supplied as a voucher to add when needed, this will also activate the SIM)
- Phone number, PIN and PUK codes
- Information sheet to use the basic functions of the SIM

Top-up vouchers may have a limited expiry date. Please confirm your month of travel to make sure I supply something that will work!
You can add the top-up from anywhere using an unlocked phone, so you can add it shortly before travel if preferred.
There may be a short delay before the free data offer is activated - you will be sent a text when it is active.
If you have a UK bank card you can top up online yourself when required.
The free data starts the day you add the credit and for 7 further days.
I can supply additional top-up codes if needed.
I can also add top-ups remotely on or near a specified date, as an alternative to a voucher code, to save you doing it and to ensure the free data is active immediately on your arrival.
