Madman Marz is the killer in this 1982 cult classic! Yes, many of you may not know Madman. However, Madman came out the same time as Jason Vorhees and Freddy Kreuger. Marz is a crazed farmer killing anyone who dares say his name above a whisper. Starring Gaylen Ross, Tony Fish, Jimmy Steele, and Paul (Madman Marz) Ehlers, this film is fun from start to finish. Yes there are parts that are very corny and cheese, yet this gives the film it’s character. When you first watch Madman the first thing that stands out are the unique kill scenes, some of which have not been re-done to this day. It’s actually very sad that this film never got a sequal due to it taking so long to catch on with fans. Yet, still Madman has captured the hearts of thousands and will live on in cult history. That is why this 30th anniversary dvd is so great! The special features and interviews with the cast years later are so humbling. You can tell the cast was just out to make a good film and are genuinely happy that the film finally gained a following.
