This scarf is made to order only. I create it and ship it within 3 weeks following your order.
Unique hand painted silk scarf with beautiful multicolor rainbow colors. I painted it on pure natural mulberry silk crêpe 12mome. Colors are red, emerald green, purple, blue, black accents, with Modernist textile design that I created by layering dye pigment.
The scarf has been individually hand painted with multiple layers of silk dyes. It is very soft to the touch and flowing, the colorful abstract design makes a great statement, individually hand painted creation.
It has been dyes on a frame, with brushes of different sizes. I painted three layers of dyes and used different drying and curing times between layers. This is a unique technique I have developed over the years. Please note that I "concoct" all my silk dyes and they are permanent. Most of my silks are actually hand-washable
It is 13" x 67" and is hand hemmed.

All my hand painted silk items are unique signed pieces. This particular scarf will be packaged with tissue paper and mailed with matching gift bag and with original label. The JOSSIANI label includes cleaning and care instructions.
