This listing is for one handmade journal, measuring approximately 8¾ x 5¾ inches.
The cover is a warm, cream-colored canvas fabric that’s lightly distressed (see photos for details). The inside covers feature soft yellow-and-ivory daisies.
It is ready to ship, and will ship out in no more than two business days after your payment has cleared
The Pages consist of the following:
• 2 vellum sheets towards the back of the book
• 128 lined sheets (256 pages, counting front and back). There are 24 lines per page, and said lines are dotted as opposed to solid, and a light/medium gray in color. Paper is 20lb weight
• 6 sheets (12 pages, counting front and back) various pink cardstock inserts, evenly spaced throughout the book
• 22 sheets (44 pages, counting front and back) unlined paper, 20lb weight
*lined and unlined 20lb pages are suitable for dry media only. For 28lb paper, suitable for both dry AND wet media, please send me an email! Also, if you would prefer to have only unlined pages, we can make that happen too!
This journal is hand-bound using a very durable nylon thread, and the entire binding is then covered in glue to further re-enforce the spine.
There are three ribbon bookmarks (ivory lace fabric, transparent light creamy yellow with a medium sheen, and ivory), which can be used all together or to mark separate places in the journal. The longest, the ivory lace fabric ribbon, dangles approximately 2¾ inches past the end of the book. The ivory ribbon has a silver and amber crystal charm tied to its end, and the transparent light creamy yellow ribbon has a silver tag with a heart punch tied to its end.
The headbands are soft sunshine yellow and cream, and are sewn into the journal to provide extra strength to the binding. For more info on headbands, please see here: http://cool.conservation-us.org/don/dt/dt1721.html
