These are solid opals which are much more desirable and valuable than the doublets and triplets that most opal jewelry on the market today is made of. The opals in these earrings display excellent fire and flash with a dazzling range of colour play. The setting is made of solid sterling silver. I had the earrings appraised by an independent GIA graduate gemologist on May 1st, 2012. The appraisal will be included with the earrings.
