Vintage DONKEY Pottery PLANTER Mini TOOTHPICK HOLDER 1950s Made in Japan

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this charming little donkey pulling a cart toothpick holder. It is made of a nice quality pottery material and is well colored. The donkey is a cream color with a soft red hat. He is pulling a barrel cart that has green wheels and traces. He has tiny black dot eyes. This is a cutie! It was made in Japan during the 1950's. It is not marked, but I've seen ones like this that were, so I know what it is. Items were supposed to have been marked with the country of origin, but some slipped through, brought or sent home by US servicemen during and after the occupation. He's a little charmer for your table or Japanese figurine collection. He would also be cute as a tiny planter using fake flowers from a crafts store.

Measurement: He measures 3 inches long and slightly over 1 1/2 inch wide at the widest part. He stands 3 inches tall at his tallest ear.
