Wall switch plates are plastic and ugly. This switch plate is made from Purpleheart (Central & South America) and is in the shape we call DIAMOND. It is designed to fit over an existing light switch and adds warmth. It is 1/4" thick and slightly bigger than your old plate. Simply use the screws you already have!
