You are looking at a sterling silver .925 Prayer Box pendant. This antiqued silver charm/pendant is a small round box that opens with a hinged lid. There is a clasp on the front that holds it securely closed. The top has a flower-like design and there is a design of lines around the edge. The inside is empty, to hold your prayers. The charm measures about inch high (including the ring) by 5/16 inch in diameter and weighs about 2.18 grams. This is a very cute pendant.
The prayer box is used to make it easier for you to leave your troubles with God. Your prayer is written on a small piece of paper or the paper is cut to represent your prayer (for example, a house might represent over-powering mortgage payments), then folded and placed in the box.
