®Here’s one with a Euro vibe to it and guess what? It’s another funkygarb exclusive! This one has all the bells and whistles and MORE. It wasn't a "cheap-o" to produce because of that. But no one else will have one :)First, you have your choice of either jet black or navy blue. The skirts are sized and, there is someplay in the sizing too, because of the way it is made. This is a bubble hem skirt but these days, those are a dime a dozen. Lemme explain what's different about this one. Now, the waistband is a fold over knit type. It's doubled, so nice and thick. The waistband is 6". So you can fold it over if you want to. Or…if you want it even longer don’t fold. The measurements are pretty right on – see below – and there is some stretch, obviously, with the knit waist band. The waist band is attached to the gathered skirt part. The skirt itself is cotton, but it is fully lined in viscose baby knit. This lining has also been tie dyed.The cotton skirt part is in pieced panels, all overstitched on the outside (then put thru the dye process). On either side of the front, there are swoopy rounded pockets with strings so you can ruch them as much as you want. These are gathered into the piecing and there are some small grommets applied at the bottom of the pockets too. These are just for added interest. The skirt is nice and full. The cotton part actually folds under and is attached to the lining. This is so it will hang well. In any case, we think this one ROCKS and hope you do too.***Measurements*** NOTE: Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and measured across the front only. Be sure to double and then subtract your own "wiggle room". Again, there's a bit of stretch to that knit waist piece also.
