Custom Handcrafted Native American Style Wood Flute, Bag and Stand
A custom handcrafted Native American Style Wood Flute. I have been handcrafting flutes since 2006. (Proceeds go to funding my flute music project - details below.)
These instruments, have strong, warm voices capable of making beautiful music. My flutes are finished with a safe non-toxic finish and tuned with a Chromatic Tuner, using the traditional method of burning in the sound holes. Flutes are tuned to the pentatonic scale.
Key of F, F# or G
6 Hole flutes.
Approx. 25.5 inches long. Your choice of wood: Cedar, Aromatic cedar, aspen, cherry, maple
Flute bag and stand included, styles vary.
Production and delivery depend on my current work load. It may take up to 3 weeks to create your flute for you, so if you need it sooner, please contact me before placing your order.
Proceeds of the sale of my flutes will help fund my flute music project,
‘A Tribute to the Dakota and other First Peoples of Minnesota’.
My goal for this project is to visit selected historical sites in Minnesota
and capture the essence of each location through music, using a Native American style wood flute. I will publish the sounds on a cd, and I will also include a pamphlet of information regarding the sites. This will provide a unique insight to the place and provide some information for those who may consider a visit.
