We now have added to our supply the NEW POLY rope, which also comes in additional colors.
We have inspected the rope and it is of the same like and quality as our original Paulie rope, which we still plan to carry as long as our vendor continues to carry it.

To those of you who have been using this rope you know how FANTASTIC it is for birds, but for those of you who have not used it or used it much, this really is a SAFER alternative to other materials for your bird toys.
It is bendable and very knottable but more importantly, it is VERY CHEWABLE.
Make sure to check out all of the other 11 colors.

We do NOT recommend this be used for the base of toys for large and ex-large birds; however it is GREAT to add to toys for large and ex-large birds as they do love chewing on it. We just do not recommend it being used to hold toys together for the large & ex-large birds because they can break it much easier than the smaller birds.
We know the time and expense that goes into making toys so the last thing we want to see happen is you put in all of the work only to find that your cockatoo or macaw has left you a pile of parts at the bottom of their cage.

We recommend that when making toys for BIG chewers such as macaws, cockatoos and alike, is to use a MINIMUM of 1/4" materials although 1/2" and bigger is your BEST bet. Smaller materials should be used just for flavoring your toys.
Of course nothing can be 100% safe and we always recommend your birds to be supervised when using ANY of our parts and or toys.

This rope is approx 1/8"(inch) round, however some times it does run a tad thinner.
