One quarter yard is 9 inches by the width of the fabric. This is a nice cotton fabric. Also have this in any color you choose. All my fat quarters are at least 21 X 18 inches in measure. My fat quarters may or may not be pre cut. Some are from the factory cut, some are cut to take to a selling show.
