Richard Hudnut Compact

With lipstick tube enclosed in base and lid, engraved with name, New York & Paris, no date. Mirror needs replacing but the brass interior reflects better than a mirror. There is a red lipstick in the tube. It does not retract up and down as it should. This case is pretty good condition if you want something that was signed by someone who was the first American cosmetic / perfume industrialist. Richard Hudnut sold his company in 1916 and died in 1929. He predates Elizabeth Arden.
