This pattern is called "Bay Laurel." This silhouette blackwork pattern is adapted into counted cross stitch from a vintage silhouette. Blackwork and redwork was very popular in 1880 - 1920 stitching embroidery line drawings. Bluework and greenwork was also done. (You can easily change the color of the thread to one you like). A lovely and unusual pattern to stitch for yourself or as a gift for someone else. You will have a very unique counted cross stitch pattern.
