His "old timers" were no more than 20 years old, but the "newbies", reinforcements from the flight school, were from an accelerated class of graduates. But in battle, it's all the same; the winner is determined by ability and nothing else. And they have a lot ahead of them to experience: the heat of battle, the thrill of a first victory over an enemy, the greatness of brotherhood which is sealed by blood, first love and the bitterness of defeat. And the day will come when each will become an old timer...
