So So Def was started in College Park, GA. back in '89.by Jermaine Dupri, But it wasn't until '92 that the world got introduced to what would become one of the most important record labels, lifestyle and sound to the urban community. With groups like Kris Kross, Da Brat, Xscape, Jagged Edge, Lil'Bow Wow, Anthony Hamilton, J-Kwon, Bone Crusher, Jermaine Dupri And The Young Bloodz keeping the sound going for over 10 years. Its nowhere you can go and people don't know So So Def. In the beginning the Afroman was just the logo for the street pressence but everybody knew that more than anything else that's why today the Afroman is world wide from ATL to Japan and now we bring him to life.

AFROMAN was created for Jermaine Dupri by Span of Sunset, Inc. for
Mr. Dupri to present to his friends, family, and international collaborators.
