Amazingly, Cry Wolf is not half the junkshop slasher one might expect going in -- then again, that doesn't quite warrant a recommendation, per se. While acting as if it's running off of your usual I Know What You Did Last Summer mold, Cry Wolf is far from a high-body-count popcorn flick. There's an engaging little story underneath the familiar character stereotypes and cheesy Instant Messenger shtick that is easy to overlook if you aren't forced to watch it.
