Remove the lid and keep the jar uncovered to allow the scent to diffuse into the room (covers aprox 400 sq feet).
For best results place your jar I an area with good air circulation (not near window or direct sunlight).
If you are using for sleep, migraines, open jar while preparing for bed, take 3-5 deep inhalations before you retire, then place the open jar as close as possible to you. In the morning close the jar to preserve the oils. In case of Rosemary it is suggested that for the first month keep the jar handy during your day to avert the onset of migraines. We suggest that once a week you take a spoon and press down on your sponge. This process will replenish the top section of the oil and prolong the scent.
