i could hardly believe my thrift store shopping eyes! shiny, new (it looks unused) vintage electric iron. made by hoover in the usa (a good indication of how old it is). the handle folds down so it'll fit easily in your suitcase and you can iron your family's clothes while you're on vacation. there's a switch so you can alternate between 120 and 230 volts (early energy star?) the cloth wrapped cord and flexible rubber area where it enters the iron are both in excellent shape.
