A Wonderful Antique Australian Opal and Garnet Ring, Gold Setting, Vintage Victorian - early Art Deco, circa 1900. This beautiful antique ring holds a rich red garnet at its center and is surrounded by antique opals with gorgeous coloration. The setting is gold and has a maker's mark of SA. Overall the ring measures about 1/2 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 6 1/2 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping. This ring dates to the late Victorian period to early 20th Century and is in lovely vintage condition. There is a nick on one opal mentioned for accuracy. A truly beautiful antique ring.
