GISA TEX Antislide is the ideal non-slip deck surfacing for your ship. Antislide will also seal your deck durably against water and damp.
Qualities
The upper surface of GISA TEX Antislide consists of 100% PVC and is thus resistant to temperatures, salt water and ultraviolet radiation. The pyramidal structure makes the
material non-slip and soft under foot. When glued down, the surface maintains its shape and is highly abrasion-resistant. The charmeuse (artificial silk) backing layer ensures lasting good adhesion.
Instructions for use
We recommend the use of a two-component adhesive for the gluing of GISA TEX Antislide. The breadth of the material allows it to fill almost any space conveniently. Its flexibility allows it to be cut to size with a pair of standard scissors, its pattern structure allows strips to be easily laid matching to each other. When laying strips cut to shape into the adhesive bed, care should be taken to remove
glue exuding sideways. After one hour's drying time, Antislide should be smoothed down once more and the edges sealed with glue. The edges can also be sealed with silicon
