This porcelain figurine is well marked but I don't recognize the marks. I believe it is from Eastern Europe, perhaps Ukraine, Russia or Poland.
The lady including her cold-painted clothing and make-up is in perfect condition. Her outfit is dark orange and the apricot color has a pearlized look that makes her lusterware. She is all hand-painted. The marks which look like an outline of a falcon and the numbers 1c 9k (k?) 17. She looks brand new but the color of the paint is very much that used in the 20s and 30s. If anyone can shed light on the meaning of the marks, please email me. The piece is 5 inches tall.
